Within the 14 thousand hours that children spend at school on average, they generate different data sets related to their physical, cognitive and social development. The datasets can be used to support the development of children, giving a meaning to the data for those who generated it.

Luna uses data related to children physical, cognitive and social development that is gathered by different tests and is administered at schools. Luna is a personal object; a half sphere that is used to team up children in pairs based on the existing data. Through a playful interaction, children search for a match. When they find it, the two halves form a ball they can use to play a game where they can strength their social skills. This project was done together with Freek de Bruijn and Hanneke Hooft van Huysduynen.
